So You Know What the Heck I'm Doing

I'm so excited that I have the opportunity to go to the Dominican Republic this summer! I will be traveling with International Student Volunteers. They are a nonprofit organization that conducts travel programs for students across six continents (I'm totally copying what it says on the website). Anywho, offer unique volunteer and adventure programs to countries like the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Thailand and Australia. The trip will be 4 weeks and I will get to participate in community development projects like educating underprivileged children and providing basic necessities like electricity or running water to communities that don't have them.

Unfortunately the trip will cost money. But this is where you can come in! From now until June 22, I will be doing multiple (hopefully) fundraisers. Bookmark this blog and join THIS group to find out how you can help me raise money. Because ISV is a nonprofit organization, all donations are tax deductible!

I'm a poor college student so any and every donations will help tremendously! I will post all my fundraisers here and on facebook if you are interested in helping :)
